I was more thinking of modifying the deflector shield to emit a high intensity inverse tachyon beam to the transwarp bubble, reverse the shield polarity and adjust the field harmonics to counteract the fluctuations in theta band radiation. But your idea probably works too, depending on how much of gadget talk quota is left.
Hah, you out-treked me! The best I can offer is a fluctuating warp signature caused by a overoaded transporter buffer. That, and maybe the classical rift in the space-time continuum.
